Guesthouse Seihaku is a renovated traditional Japanese house available for complete rental in Otsu City, Shiga Prefecture.
Located in the center of Otsu City where you can feel the presence of Lake Biwa, our guesthouse is in an excellent location just 10 minutes on foot from JR Otsu Station and 20 minutes by train from Kyoto Station, making it only 8 minutes walking distance to the shores of Lake Biwa, ideal as a base for sightseeing.
The spacious accommodation that can host up to 9 guests is perfect for family trips or stays with groups of friends.
Since we rent out the entire building, you can create special moments together while maintaining your privacy.

Our renovated spaces, which carefully preserve the warmth of the traditional Japanese house while blending modern comfort, along with gardens that display seasonal expressions from spring plum blossoms to autumn maple leaves, quietly welcome our guests. Our facility features a small adjoining café where you can enjoy aromatic coffee freshly roasted on-site. It serves as a welcoming space open to the community, creating a warm gathering place where locals and travelers naturally come together.
